One day, two lovely lads from the arid steppes of Northern Colorado looked around. Surveying the landscape, they hatched a plan to release music. But this wasn't going to be your typical record company. From the start, veedee Records was run with haphazard grace.
Inspired by the likes of Elephant Six and Twisted Nerve, this loose collective of artists was founded. All involved are dedicated to the same goal. Good music. So much of today's music business is exactly that - business. We here at veedee Records are proud to be the antithesis of corporate.

We believe in good music.
We don't want money; we want to make music.
We value albums over singles, detailed arrangements over run-of-the-mill monotony, and, above all, intelligence over ignorance.
Without music, a record label is worthless and would not exist. Some record companies have forgotten this. At veedee, music always comes before business.
