Bio
In the summer of 2001, singer-songwriter, David J. Kelley, was finishing a recording project he was to call 2 a.m. Orchestra. While the CDs were being pressed, Kelley rehearsed a live band to perform in support of his debut release. Teaming with long-time friends and partners in music, the live sound took on an element of its own, and soon 2 a.m. Orchestra was officially a band. The current line up consists of Kelley on Guitar and Lead Vocals, Bassist, Ben Mcentee, and Drummer, Randy Stindt.
After 5 years of hard work and having just returned from a summer tour in support of their new album, Impermanence, 2 a.m. Orchestra will be taking a 6 month break from live performances. Founding member, David Kelley, has relocated to the Jiangsu Province in China, where he'll be writing and recording demos for the next studio album. Upon returning, the band will launch an extensive college-campus tour in support of Music In Me (musicinme.net).
